Emma Jane Sir Hendrey 87, Princeton, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Transcendent Healthcare Center of Owensville. 

She was born Feb. 16, 1929 in Flint Township, Michigan, to Henry and Emma Hook Taylor both of which precede, and was an area resident for 35 years. 

She was married to William T. Sir Hendrey, who preceded her on July 17, 2003.

Emma Worked in the kitchen as a long time cook at Mill Shoals Grade School located at Mill Shoals, Illinois.

She was a member of the New Covenant Baptist Church of Princeton and loved playing bingo.

Emma is survived by daughter, Naomi Jane Renner of Princeton and brother, Bobby G. (Jean) Taylor of Mill Shoals. She is also survived by grandchildren; David (Teresa) Renner and Roy (Denise) Renner, both of Princeton, and great grandchildren Kaylee Renner , along with numerous nieces,  nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Bill Henry Taylor and his wife Delma Ann.

Funeral services are 1 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 at Doyle Funeral Home, located at 520 S. Main St. Princeton, with Pastors Miles Ziegler and Fred Denton. Interment is in Columbia White Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday, July 29, 2016 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Doyle Funeral Home.  The family has selected Doyle Funeral Home to be in charge of the arrangements.
