Sherman M. Miskell, 83 passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at The Waters of Princeton. 

He was born June 5, 1933 in Princeton to Charles and Dealie (Colbert) Miskell. 

He retired after 38 years working for Mid-States Rubber and was also a tree trimmer. He had lived in Princeton all of his life. He was a member of the Princeton Holiness Church and a member of I.A.M. Local Union.

He is survived by 7 children, Tom Miskell of Mackey, Jeff Miskell of Boonville, David Miskell , Gary Miskell, Tim Miskell and Theresa Thompson all of Princeton and Sharon Douglas of Owensville; 19 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; sister Virginia Ryan of Princeton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda S. Miskell on Oct 14, 2004; 2 infant brothers and 2 other brothers, Charles and Roscoe Miskell ; 4 sisters, Elsie Coomer, Mable Skelton, Ruby Legg and Norma Jean Miskell.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept 29, 2016 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Larry Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in the Oddfellows Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
