Frances Kathryn DeBord, 97, formerly of Princeton, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2016 in Lubbock, TX where she lived for the last 14 years.

She was born February 15, 1919 in Mt. Carmel, IL to the late, Edward and Ellen Effie Schultheis.

She was the youngest of seven children. While in Mt. Carmel, she graduated from beauty school. She co-owned a beauty shop and worked as a beautician.

On December 24, 1941, she married William Glenn DeBord and moved to Chattanooga, TN, where they had two children, Susan and Mike.

In 1952, they moved to Princeton, IN where she worked for Potter & Brumfield for 22 years. She retired at the age of 65. After the passing of her husband, Glenn, she moved to Lubbock, TX. She was a loving mother and Mamaw who enjoyed playing cards, working crossword puzzles and reading.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Mick) Donini Lubbock, TX; son, Mike (Sue) DeBord, of Plano, TX; 4 grandchildren, Staci (Russ) Swim and Ginni (Elliott) Stanton both of Lubbock, TX, Graig (Trina) Donini of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Chris (Amanda) DeBord of Plano, TX; great grandchildren, Jacob and Colter Swim, Camryn and Gunnar Stanton, Luci Donini, and Madalynn and Johnathan DeBord.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Ft. Branch, IN. Visitation will be from 12 until 2 PM on Sunday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
