Anna Mae Akers, 88, of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Oakview Heights in Mt. Carmel, IL.

She was born September 21, 1928 in Gibson County, IN to Ray and Rosina (Gieselman) Jaquemai.

She retired from Midstate Rubber after 40 years. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton.

She is survived by her children, Donna (Mike) Yeager of Princeton, Debbie (Dean) Wilson of Clinton, IN, George “Tony” (Kristi) Akers of Princeton, Doris (John) Beasley of Princeton and Jeff Akers of Princeton; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Akers, Jr.; sister, Louise Kramer; and a brother, John “Bud” Jaquemai.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Father Brian Emmick, celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 11 am until service time on Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
