Elizabeth A. Bruce, 71, of Patoka, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.

She was born March 17,1945 in Princeton to the late Walter and Edith (Decker) Lankford.

She was a graduate of Patoka High School in 1963 and resided in Patoka her lifetime. She had worked at the former Princeton Telephone Company for 20 years and then became a fulltime homemaker.

Elizabeth is survived by her 3 children, Vickie L. Bruce, Jeffrey Bruce (Christian) and Gregory Bruce (Niccole Greer) all of Patoka; 5 grandchildren, Abigail Davis, Zane Bruce, Alexis Davis, Macy Bruce and Cailey Bruce; 4 step-children, Michelle Sutton, Kristina Bullock and Mike Sullivan all of Princeton and Kelley Marvel of Patoka.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth E. Bruce, May 14, 2012; and a granddaughter, Alissa J. Davis, August 3, 2016.

Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2016 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka, with Pastor Chris Neikirk officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Family and friends will meet at Colvin’s on Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.
