Laveda Pearl Boner 71, of Princeton, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Deaconess Gateway Hospital located in Newburgh, IN.

Laveda was born on Saturday, April 28, 1945 to Chester A. and Elizabeth (Sanders) Belcher both of who precede.

She was the Valedictorian of her 1963 graduating class and the President of the Hazleton Alumni Association. She was the plant manager of Essex Wire in Vincennes for 27 years and worked several years with the GCARC.

On July 28, 1962, in Patoka, IN she was married to James Michael Boner who preceded her in death on February 11, 2015.

She has been a lifelong area resident and attended Bethel Memorial Church in Princeton. She always spoke fondly of her time spent with her friends at Shirley’s Hair Fashions.

Laveda is survived by her sons James “Jimmy” Michael Boner II (Tracy Thorne) of Oakland City and Matthew Edward Boner (Brian Scudder) of Cincinnati. Also surviving are daughters Lanita Beth (Jim) Morrow of Princeton and Teresa Zoe Lewis also of Princeton. other survivors include brother Ike (Kathy) Belcher of Hazleton, 11 grandchildren; Kyle, Kendall and Olivia Morrow, Tiffany and Jennifer Martin, Justin, Elaine, Erika, Hunter Boner, Jaidelyn and Zane Boner and 14 Great Grandchildren; Curtis, Caidence, Jeffrey, Eli, Amina, Kawhi, Raven, Hadley, Baby Carter, Kynsley, Keelan, Jaedon, Klintyn and Aniyah.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Bethel Memorial Church, located at 1520 S. Main St., Princeton, IN 47670 with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating. Internment will take place in IOOF cemetery in Hazleton.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. at Bethel Memorial Church.
