Dennis J. Brown, 67 of Princeton passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

He was born April 7, 1950 in Hazleton, to Harold Donald and Beulah Ruth (Satterfield) Brown.

He retired from Whirlpool in Evansville, where he worked for 39 years. He was a member of the Friendship Christian Church in Baldwin Heights and had previously attended the Church of the Nazarene. He liked riding his motorcycle, watching old western shows especially the Lone Ranger and reruns of Perry Mason.

He is survived by his wife Rita (Parke Beadles) Brown; son, Dennis Eugene Brown (Kay); daughter, Tammy Bullington (Greg Gehl); step-son, Tim Beadles (Cindy); 7 grandchildren, Jonathon, Alysia and Austin Ashley, Zacary Bullington, Amber Vest, Alexis Eaton and Charity Stewart; several great grandchildren; brothers, William H. (Bill) Brown (Linda) and James E. Brown (Charlene): sisters, Esther P. (Amos) Livermore (Jerry), and Wilma R. Young (Bill); aunt, Dorothy Wirth; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife of 40 years, Iva K. (Bray) Brown in 2011; brother and sister-in-law Donald W. and Kennelee (White) Brown; sister, Mary Frances (Brown) Emge; sister-in-law, Debbie (Chapman) Brown; brother-in-law, Delmar R. Amos; niece, Carolyn Sue (Brown) Hayes.

Funeral service will be 12 p.m. Thursday May 25, 2017 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Gene Siverly and Pastor Ralph Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home.
