Chester “Earl” Lewis age 72, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Gibson General Hospital located in Princeton.

Earl was born on Wednesday, May 31, 1944, in St Albans W.V. to Lyndelle and Gladys (Grass) Lewis both of which precede.

Earl was a self employed restaurant owner and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton and also the local Eagles.

Earl is survived by 3 daughters; Julie (Brent) Palmer of El Cajone, CA, Autumn (Brian) Jones of Essex Junction, VT and Sherry Lewis of Tampa, FL. Other survivors include 3 sisters; Bertha (Gary) Smith of Owensville, IN, Betty (Neal) Newton of Oakland City, IN and Pepper Collins of Princeton, IN, and 1 grandson Zach Frauenthal.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers Charles and Bill Lewis.

The family has entrusted Doyle Funeral Home with arrangements.


Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 15, 2017 at Doyle Funeral Home located at 520 S. Main St. in Princeton, IN 47670 with Rev. Father Bernie Etienne officiating. Internment will take place in White Church Cemetery of Princeton.
