Catherine “Joyce” Smith, 86, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.

She was born September 8, 1930 in Princeton to Charles E. and Ruth (Hart) Wright, both deceased.

She was a member of the Tower Heights Church of God in Princeton and was very active in the church and a very dedicated Christian woman. She enjoyed boating, traveling, ceramics, baking, cooking and having big dinners for her family.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Smith of Princeton; 4 daughters, Brenda Smith (Kent) of Princeton, Jerry Lynn Naas of Princeton, Charlotte Hemmer (Don) of Winslow and Jody Liniger (Ken) of Princeton; 7 grandchildren, Tasha Tooley, Wendy Williams, Jerica Davis, Leigth Naas, P.J. Smith, Ernie Schatz and Kodie Martin; 9 great grandchildren, Colt, Hayden, Hunter, Hannah, Aubree June, Thomas, Bailey, Kamden and Isabella; 1 great-great grandchild, Aria; a brother, Ted Wright (Pauline) of Princeton; and her beloved dog, Toby Tyler.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2017 at Tower Heights Church of God in Princeton. Burial will follow in Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the church. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with arrangements.
