Linda Kay West 76, of Hazleton, IN passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital located in Newburgh, IN.

She was born on Monday, January 20, 1941 in Washington, IN. to Quillis and Delta Mae (Deffendall) Burkhart, both of whom preceded.

On Saturday, November 8, 1958 in Pike County, IN she was married to Howard West who survives.

She was a life long area resident and homemaker.

Survivors include husband Howard of Hazleton, IN, Sons; Jeff (Donna) West of Petersburg, IN, Brian (Noreen) West of Washington, IN, Brent West of Union, IN, Daughters; Tonya West of Union, IN, Stephanie McKinney of Princeton, IN, Brother, Burl (Joy) Burkhart of Princeton, IN and Sister Caroline (Don) Ray of Princeton, IN, 10 Grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren

She is preceded in death by her parents, Daughters; Tammy West and Katrina “Tina” Gish, Brothers; Dewey, Lester, Donald andGilford “Buck” Burkhart and Sister Imagene Lindy

Cremation will take place with the interment of ashes to take place at 10:00 am Eastern/ 9:00 am Central Time on Saturday, July 8, 2017 in Union Community Cemetery located in Union with Pastor Gene Burkhart officiating.
The family has entrusted Doyle Funeral Home with arrangements.
