Samuel Lee Douglas, 49, of Princeton, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

He was born on May 7, 1968 in Princeton, IN to Donald & Doris (Sinkes) Douglas.

He retired in 2015 from the transportation company Renzenberger, Inc.  He loved fishing, watching movies & animals; especially his dog Sprinkle.

He is survived by his father Donald Douglas; 2 brothers:  Charles Douglas, Princeton & David (Debbie) Douglas, Homer, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Doris Douglas in 2014.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 at Hazleton Community Cemetery, Hazleton, IN, officiated by Rev. David Kelle. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Colvin Funeral Home, Princeton.
