Fayola D. Heuring, 96, of Ft. Branch, entered into rest on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center in Newburgh, IN.

She was born June 15, 1921 in Owensville to the late Oscar and Capitola Callis Daughterty.

Mrs. Heuring was a secretary and teacher’s aide for Marlette School in Ft. Branch and during WWII she worked for Chrysler ammunition. She was a member of Fort Branch First United Methodist Church.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Heuring, two sisters, Mary Helen Daugherty and Hildamae Martin.

Survivors include one son, Dennis (Doris Ann) Heuring of Indianapolis and a daughter, Susan J. Tieken and friend, John "Sully" Sullivan of Evansville, and one sister, Bernice Hacker of Edina, Minnesota. Fayola was blessed with two grandchildren, Dina (Eric) Downey and Tai (Charlene) Tieken. 

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville. Burial will be in Owensville Cemetery in Owensville. Friends may visit with the family of Fayola Heuring from 4-7PM, Monday and 9AM until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
