Wanda (Sprinkle) Marvel, 80, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Deaconess Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.

She was born in Princeton, Indiana on July 22, 1937 to the late Estel and Dorothy (Mauck) Sprinkle.

Wanda was a graduate of Owensville High School class of 1956 member of the First Christian Church of Owensville. She had worked at the Owensville Convalescent Center as a CNA for several years.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Thomas; children, Lana Marvel (William Masterson) of Poseyville, Gregory (Rebecca) Marvel of Connersville; 4 grandchildren, Kurt (Elizabeth) Marvel of Fowler, MI; Barbara (Shawn) Tipton, John and Sarah Marvel of Connersville; 7 great-grandchildren, Landon, Lily and Charlotte Marvel, Abby, Matthew, Grace and Gabby Tipton; siblings, Johnny (Lois) Sprinkle, Ft. Branch, Betty Coleman, Owensville, step-sister Delores Neaveill, Owensville, brother-in-law, Tom Humbert.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Judy Humbert, Jerry Sprinkle; sister-in-law, Glenda Sprinkle, brothers-in-law, Richard Coleman and Charles Neaveill.

Services will be held on Friday Aug. 4, 2017 at the First Christian Church at 10:00 am officiated by Bart Newton and Shawn Tipton. Burial to follow in the Antioch Cemetery in rural Owensville.

Visitation will be held on Thursday Aug. 3, 2017 at Holders Funeral Home from 4-8 pm and again Friday at the church from 9:00 am until service time.
