Whalen A. King, 92, of Patoka, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Gibson General Hospital, Skilled Nursing Facility in Princeton.

He was born November 17, 1924 in Central City, KY to the late Elder and Katherine King. He had been a Gibson County resident most of his lifetime, coming from Kentucky and was a retired mechanic. Whalen served his country in the U. S. Army during WW II.

Surviving are his son, Whalen E. King of Patoka; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a sister, Marjorie Holderbaugh.

His wife, Lois M. (Graham) King and his son, Jeff King preceded him in death.

There will be no visitation or service. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted by the family for assistance.
