James R. “Jimmy” Greentree, 56, of Denton, Texas and formerly of Princeton, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018.

He was born on April 12, 1961 in Gibson County, IN. Jimmy was a truck driver but had previously worked in retail at Walmart and K-Mart.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Greentree of Denton, TX; mother, Margaret Greentree of Columbia, SC; 2 children, James Greentree (Leah) of Denton, TX and Crystal Deimund (Lucas) of Festus, MO; 5 grandchildren, Colby, Sierra, Avery, Chevy and Cody; 2 great grandchildren, Brenleigh and Scarlett; and 2 sisters, Mary Robb of Princeton and Georgetta Greentree of Evansville.

Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Kenneth Hurst. Burial will follow at Owensville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm on Friday at Colvin Funeral Home.
