Sarah L. Richie, 73, passed away at Signature Healthcare in Newburgh, IN on February 5, 2018.

She was born to the late John and Elnora (Gries) Seib on April 30, 1944 in Evansville, IN.

Sarah was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN and was a wonderful homemaker her entire life.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Jared Richie.

Sarah is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Kenny Richie of Fort Branch, IN, daughter; Laura (Jim) Runnion of Evansville, IN, son; Danny Richie of Haubstadt, IN, sisters; Mae Rexing of Haubstadt, IN and Martha Schauss of Wadesville, IN, brother; Leroy Seib of Princeton, IN, and 2 grandchildren; Glenn Tenbarge and Clara Richie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 11:00 AM with Fathers Tony Ernst and Ambrose Wanyonyi as co-celebrants. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN, and again on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Holy Cross Catholic Church from 9:00 AM to service time. Recitation of the Rosary will be on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Stodghill Funeral Home at 3:30 PM. Burial will be Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.
