Darrell Vaughn Mauck, 82, of Owensville, IN passed away May 19, 2018 surrounded by his family.

He was born November 24, 1935 in Owensville, IN to the late Howard V. Mauck and Anna Mae (Higginbotham) Mauck.

Darrell was a retired self-employed entrepreneur. He had a deep love and devotion to his family.

He is survived by his devoted companion Carolyn Wolfe; children Dee Ann (Robin) Matsel, Kenny (Jeanne Barrett) Mauck, and Lenny Mauck; siblings Betty (Jim) Erbacher, Bill (Jan) Mauck, and Jon Mauck; 5 grandchildren, Ciavon (Matt), Matt, Bryce, Braden, Justin (Angie); and 5 great grandchildren.

Including his parents Darrell was preceded in death by his son Errol and sister Jo Ellen Armstrong.

Holders Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Mauck. Funeral services will be held 11:00a Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Holders Funeral Home, 319 S. Main St. Owensville, IN with Reverend Martin officiating with burial at Mauck Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home 4:00p-8:00p Tuesday, May 22, 2018.
