Mrs. Mary Jane Byrley, 74, for 20 years a resident of Patoka, died at her home there at 6:50 o'clock Saturday evening of complications.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at the Patoka Methodist Church in charge of Rev. Donald Boyd. Burial was in Patoka cemetary.

She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Arthur Antell and Mrs. Charles Nelson of Memphis, Tennessee, Mrs. W. E. Humphreys and Mrs. R.T. Johnson of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; four sons: John and Will of Evansville, and James and Klee at home; thirty-two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Byrley was born in Crawford County. She was a member of the United Brethren Church of Leavenworth.
