(Most of the documents were assembled in the 1920's, but often refer to events from much earlier.  There is a tremendous amount of detail referring to proof of family relationships.)

Oscar Saulmon, being first duly sworn on his oath deposes and says, that he was personally acquainted with Sarah E. Saulmon and Clarence A. Saulmon, to whom on the 10th day of September 1898, Virgil P. Bozman and wife conveyed land in Section 17, Town 3 south, Range 12 west in Gibson County Indiana, and he positively knows that the said Sarah E. Saulmon departed this life, in testate several years before the 30th day of December 1919, leaving her surviving no husband, but left her surviving as heirs and only heirs at law her children, namely, Clarence A. Saulmon, Scott C. Saulmon, Everett A. Saulmon, Mina Lee Saulmon, and Ida D. Williams, the wife of L. Sylvan Williams. Affiant further says he was personally acquainted with the above named Everett A. Saulmon and Mina Lee Saulmon ...and that both were unmarried as of the 30th day of December 1919. Signed Oscar Saulmon Subscribed and sworn to before me on this 11th day of  October 1926 signed Charles W. Benton, Notary Public.
