(Most of the documents were assembled in the 1920's, but often refer to events from much earlier.  There is a tremendous amount of detail referring to proof of family relationships.)

Samuel A. Stewart, being first duly sworn on his oath deposes and says, that he was personally acquainted with Gordon B. Bingham and Minerva Bingham his wife to whom on the 2nd day Nov. 1874, Robert Stockwell conveyed the real estate in Gibson County, Indiana, known and described as the east fraction of Section 7, and all of fractional Section 8, all in Town 1 south, Range 11 west. and other lands, and he positively knows that the said Gordon B. Bingham departed this life, in testate, on or about the 10th day of Jan., 1876, leaving the said Minerva Bingham his wife surviving him.  Affiant further says that the said Minerva S. Bingham who on the 17th day of 1901, conveyed above described real-estate to William B. Bingham was one and the same person as Minerva Bingham wife of Gordon B. Bingham herein first mentioned.
