(Most of the documents were assembled in the 1920's, but often refer to events from much earlier.  There is a tremendous amount of detail referring to proof of family relationships.)

Warrick Yeager, being first duly sworn on his oath deposes and says, that he was personally acquainted with Charles Mead, to whom on the 10th day of April 1895, James M. Cockrum and wife conveyed Lots 5&6 in block 11 in the Western Enlargement to the town of Oakland, now Oakland City … and he positively knows that said Charles Mead departed this life, in testate, prior to the year 1907, leaving him surviving as his only heir at law his widow, Mary E. Mead. Signed Warrick Yeager. Subscribed and sworn to before me on this 1st day of December 1930 signed Charles W. Benton, Notary Public.
