(Most of the documents were assembled in the 1920's, but often refer to events from much earlier.  There is a tremendous amount of detail referring to proof of family relationships.)

Joseph W. Elliott, being first duly sworn on his oath deposes and says, that he was personally acquainted with Nancy C. Young to whom in the year 1868, there was set off and assigned the north 46 acres of Militia Donation #30, in Gibson County, as her portion of the estate of her deceased father Stewart Cunningham, Sr., together with other lands, and he was personally acquainted with Cordelia Young who on the 16th day of August, 1876, conveyed said 46 acre tract to Andrew W. Cunningham, and he positively knows that the said Nancy C. Young and the said Cordelia Young were one and the same person. Signed Joseph W. Elliott.
