G. M. Emmerson, being first duly sworn on his oath deposes and says, that he was personally acquainted with William H. Roberts who on the 16th day of September 1851, executed a deed of conveyance to Thomas Roberts for land in Gibson County Indiana and he knows that at the time of executing said deed of conveyance the said William H. Roberts was an unmarried man. Signed by G. M. Emmerson. Subscribed and sworn to before me on this 29th day of July 1924 signed Charles W. Benton, Notary Public
