(Most of the documents were assembled in the 1920's, but often refer to events from much earlier.  There is a tremendous amount of detail referring to proof of family relationships.)

Herman G. Graper, being first duly sworn on his oath deposes and says, that he was personally acquainted with Henry Block who in life and at the time of his death was the owner of 10.6 acres NE ¼ of the SW ¼ , of Section 31 township 3 south, Range 10 west in Gibson County Indiana, and he positively knows that the said Henry Block departed this life intestate prior to the 28th day of October 1920 leaving him surviving as his heirs and only heirs at law, his widow, Rosina Block and his children George H. Block, Emma E. Stunkel the wife of J. Verne Stunkel and Elsie Rosie Marie Espenlaub the wife of Walter C. Espenlaub. Signed, Herman G. Graper.
