Landon Kell, being first duly sworn on his oath deposes and says, that he was personally acquainted with Samuel F. Scott and Loyette Scott who on the 11th day of August, 1865, executed a deed of conveyance to Columbus B. Smith for the following described real-estate... part of lot #33 in the Original Plan of the Town of Owensville, Indiana. Affiant further says that he positively knows that at the time of executing said deed of conveyance, the said Samuel F. Scott and the said Loyette Scott was each of them unmarried. Signed Landon Kell Subscribed and sworn to before me on this 27th day of September 1926 signed Charles W. Benton, Notary Public.
