Will of Ephraim Tucker Jr. of Butler County, Ohio
In The Name Of The Benevolent Father Of All;
I, Ephraim Tucker of Reily Township, Butler County, Ohio, do make and publish
this, my last will and testament, in manner and form that is to say.
First - It is my will that all funeral expenses and all my just debts be fully
paid.
Second - I gave, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Phebe Tucker in lieu
of her dower, the farm on which we now reside, with all the stock, farming
utensils, household and kitchen furniture that is or may be on the farm
aforesaid, at my decease and after the expiration of one year, on third part of
said farm to be set off through the center of the farm north and south and to
have fruit from the orchard for her use and the right to the water for all
reasonable use so long as she remains a widow. I also give and bequeath to my
wife, Phebe Tucker, two beds, bedsteads and bedding, one mantle clock, one
bureau, one set of chairs, one set of silver tablespoons, one set silver
teaspoons and one set of knives and forks, two cows, and one horse to take her
choice of the horses, six sheep, four hogs and one set of teaware.
Third - I give, devise and bequeath to my seven sons, namely, to Ephraim
Tucker, Elijah Tucker, James Tucker, Cornelius F. Tucker, Daniel Tucker, Joseph
Tucker, and Henry Tucker, each one full share and to my daughter, Hannah Hand
one half of share and to my daughter Phebe Ross, one half of a share and to
Sarah Hand on half of a share and to my granddaughter Susan Ross, one fourth of
a share and to my grandson, Oliver Ross one fourth of a share.
And lastly, I hereby constitute and appoint my sons, Elijah Tucker and Joseph
Tucker to be my executors of this, my last will and testament, revoking and
annulling all former wills by me made and ratifying and confirming this and no
other to be my last will and testament.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifth day of
Feb, eighteen hundred and forty-four.

hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of the last will
and testament of Ephraim Tucker, as the same appears on file and of record in
said court. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
seal of said court at Hamilton, Ohio, this 17th day of June 1940.
