John W. Vandeventer & Dilliann VandeventerDickson County Kansas Circuit Court Clerk Records. The said plaintiff, John W. Vandeventer says that he is and has been a bon fide resident of said county of Dickinson and state of Kansas for more than one year last past. And the siad plaintiff further says that on or about the day of March A.D. 1882 in the County of Greene and state of Indiana he was married to said defendant Dilian Vandeventer and that he has ever since conducted himself toward said defendant - as a faithful and true husband; yet said plaintiff, says that said defendant - disregarding her duties of a wife toward said plaintiff, has been willfuly absent from and wholly abandoned said plaintiff for more than one year last past without any cause of justification therefore on the part of said plaintiff. Your petitioner therefore prays that he may be divorced from said defendant and that the marriage relations heretofore existing between said plaintiff and said defendant may be disolved, and that he may recover his cost herein. Deliah was born 14 Sep 1837 in , Marion, Indiana.
