James Thomas Vandeventer Family Bible

This was by what I was told by my grandmother copied from the family bible after the funeral of a family member. James Thomas "Tom" Vandeventer had finally remarried - it is said the family bible convienately dissappeared after this time.

Whether it contained any information on Thomas parents and siblings is unknown but he was the oldest male child of Absolum Vandeventer's two familes.

Pages with blank sides were torn out of "Report Commissioner of Agriculture for 1880" the back of copy I have has "Swine Plague". This was sent to me by a descendant of Simon Vandeventer.

A copy was made for each of the remaining children alive and possibly a copy for the family of Mary Frances (Vandeventer) Osborn who was deceased. Children alive were Abner, Winfield, Simon and Lillie Galdys (Vandeventer) Mc Kee. What actually happened to my grandmother's copy is unknown.
