Hi I am your new county Coordinator - Judi Burns - I have been the assistant up till now - working in the background with Katy to get material for the site.

Want to know the beginings of InGenWeb - who started it and who were the first...here is the story.

Katy was in the process of redesigning the site and there are numerous duplicate folders and items moved around - So I am not dumping anything as yet - just sifting thorough it slowly folder by folder - file by file; using her menu bar to the left - So please be patient and if you can not find something or or a link comes up "NOT FOUND" please kindly e-mail me and let me know. Also I am changing or adding to the menu bar by "global Replacement" which does the full folders all at once - if missing on any individual page please let me know -

I am trying to put the site back into working order as quick as possible. There are still items at the old site; nothing has been taken off or unlinked unless it was that way before I started this all - I WILL NOT remove anything from the old site until it is linked here. And as a safe guard I have put the entire site into another folder 0nto this site - as was - A recent comment:
Went to Greene Co. web page this morn. & see that its been changed & now I can't find the queries page. If its not broke, don't fix it. Leave it alone. It was fine the way it was. Sorry, don't mean to get on my soapbox, but I don't like changes. I get use to something, I want it to stay that way if at all possible.
the only change I have made major is the new look or layout of page with simple fonts - the menu and layout of the menu is as I found on the site. I am not planning to change the menu - maybe only to add to it as I go along such as under the "history".

The search engine has remained on the old site and leaving the search engine as is for now - but I am told is not fully operational since rootsweb has moved all the site over to the "Ancestry.com" side - this took effect this first week in April.

Have you submitted information the past year and it is not up on site? Please let me know - so I know what I am looking for in her folders. If I find new stuff not up I will add it as I go as yet I have no idea what is fully lurking behind the scenes in the folders PLEASE be patient as I un-ravel each of them.

There are a couple of ways to do submissions. You may want to send your information as an attachment to my e-mail address at:

I don't live in the area, but don't let that stop you from asking questions. I have my resources for finding information and am more than happy to try and help.

However, I cannot go to the courthouse or the newspaper and dig out information.

I have not been there so not sureif it works - this as withthe search engine will be one of the last items tackeled - as priority to me is getting the site back up in workimg order and material on that is here - and letting those who submitted know what is missing by viewing the site. When all completed - everything I find in folders will be up and I will try and add new as I go. Again PLEASE be patient.
