Judi Burns - Is a genealogy enthusiast that
collects everything she can find about Greene County and its people. Her
family has been in the area since the before 1840's. Judi also

coordinator for Greene and Sullivan counties as of 22 April 2008; she has been
county coordinator for Carroll county February 2005 and also has several special project
pages.
Jerry Jacobs > - a recently retired mechanical
engineer, from Ford Motor Company and lives in the metro Detroit
area. My interest in family history started seriously about 1994.
Unfortunately, this was a few years after my grandmother, Anna
Wright, who was born in Greene county, had passed away. I made
my first visit to Greene County in 1999 and have tried to return
at least once a year since then. I have received a tremendous
amount of help from other Greene County researchers and would
like to 'give back' as much as I can.
Amy Werring- hasn't been doing genealogy very long,
but her roots are in Greene county and she wants to learn more
about the area and its people. She has to work in conjunction
with someone that has the index to her material so be sure to
get that information first.
Stephen Stalcup- Part of the Stalup/Myers family,
Stephen submits a lot to the rootsweb message board, His addiction
to family history began in the early 1970's when he was working
in Washington D.C. and had access to the National Archives and
the Library of Congress. He is retired as the District
Director of IRS for the state if Iowa after a 32 year career. Now,
his focus is on genealogy and family history. He and his
wife have deep roots in Indiana, he in Greene and the MYERS family
is from neighboring Daviess County, Indiana. His principle
surnames are Stalcup, Ashcraft, King, Wilson, and Speeker/Speaker. He
has agreed to be a contact for the Stalcup family and do
lookups in books that he has. He also has the web site:Stalcup
Krista Francis Boucher - Krista has joined the lookup team
and she lives in Linton. She will do lookups for the Greene county
cemeteries, she knows most of the surrounding cemeteries.
Beverly Casey - Beverly has been doing genealogy
for about 20 years now. She has an extensive collection of genealogy
CD's from Family Tree Maker, plus their marriage set. Her ancestors
from Greene County and surrounding areas were the Shields, Christy,
Hamilton, Bingham, Bays families. And that is just her
fathers side. Her mothers side also came through IN but in Franklin,
Knox and Monroe counties. "So I have a special place
in my heart for IN"
Bryan Blaker -
Bryan is 42 and was born in Linton hospital, lived his entire life
in and around Bloomfield. He graduated for Bloomfield High School
in 1979 and joined the military in 1980. He have been in the Navy
for 23 years and is presently stationed in Norfolk Virginia. He
has been doing genealogy for about 4 years now. He has done much
of his research on-line and by contacting distant relatives by
message boards. He has done significant research on Blaker, Sarver,
and Stalcup families. "I received most of the references I
have from my Aunt Dimple Hedden." He presently doing a lot
of research using the Federal census and concentrating in Pa.,
Nc., Tn.,and In. "If there is any more information needed
I will gladly supply it. I am looking forward to assisting the
Greene County researchers as I am returning there for my retirement
in the next couple of years."
George Mc Kee - He has been researching the Pope's of northwest of Linton and is a Midland High
School graduate
Ruth Flack McKnight I
have been doing genealogy research for 36 years. Over the years
have taught genealogy workshops and seminars. I am still very active
helping folks learn basic research on a one on one basis. I am
disabled with arthritis sine 1995. I worked for an insurance firm
as a policy processor. I raised four children, have 8 grandchildren,
and 1 great grandwon, with another expected in August. Please,
no more than one surname per day.
