John Chaney

William Clenny

Jefferson Dover

found reference to a Dover in the Revolutionary War that was buried in Greene County, Indiana. Unfortunately he is in an unmarked grave in Mood Cemetery. Francis Lang

was born about 1760. He died 19 Jul 1847 and is buried 6 miles east of Bloomfield, Indiana. He was married, his first wife unknown. Children: Nancy born 1803; Nehemiah born 1806; Stansbury born 1807; Sarah born 1809; James born 1811. Second wife was a Kennedy. Third wife was Susannah Hunter Philip, a widow, married in 1828. Adam Rainbolt

was born 1757 at Cape Fear North Carolina. He died Nov 1834 at his home in Lawrence County and is buried in Storm Cemetery in Greene County. Stone. He was married in 1787 to Jane Potter 1765-1834. Joseph Reany

William Slucer

was born Hampshire County, Virginia. He died after 10 Aug 1814, the date his will was probated and buried in Bloomfield City Cemetery. From the earliest settlement of Greene county, there was a marked military spirit exhibited by the settlers, for an unusually large number of old soldiers settled in the county.
