WILLIAM J. BREAKEY Shelburn, Ind., Sept 19 - (Special) - William J. BREAKEY, 68, died Saturday morning at his home, two miles east of here. He is suravived by the widow, Viola; one stepson, William DAVIS, Shelburn; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha DREW, Chicago, and Mrs. Louise HENLEY, Dania, Fla. The body was taken to th McHugh Funeral Home at Shelburn where friends may call after noon Sunday. Monday morning the body will be taken to the Bourne Funeral Home at Chicago where funeral services and burial will be held Tuesday.

He is survived by one son, Sampson COULTER of Linton; two daughters, Mrs. Earl ELLIS of R.R. 3, Linton and Mrs. William AZAR of St. Louis, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Mary JOHNSON of Linton; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home here with Rev. J.E. CATRON officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

YOUTH DIES FROM AUTO CRASH HURT Linton, Ind., Dec. 29 - (Special) - Frederick COULTER, 22 years old, Linton, succumbed at the Freeman - Greene County Hospital Saturday night to injuries received in an auto crash near here Friday evening. COULTER and two companions, Wesley STRAHLEY, 21, and Robert Harrell, 20, both of Linton and all veterans of World War II, were traveling north on State Road 59 between Midland and Jasonville. The vehicle, driven by STRAHLEY, is reported to have cut around the right of a string of traffic when oncoming traffic prevented it from passing a large truck. The car skidded on the shoulder after traveling about 50 feet and crashed into a utility pole. COULTER was pinned beneath the auto and received chest and head injuries. The other two youths escaped with minor injuries. State Officer HAYEK investigated the crash. COULTER'S body was taken to the Welch & Cornet Funeral Home. Terre Haute Star, Page 7 Monday, December 31, 1945 ACCIDENT VICTIM DIES Linton, Ind., Dec. 30 - (UP) - Fred COULTER, 22, Linton, died in Greene County Hospital Saturday night from injuries suffered Friday night when his automobile crashed into a utility pole next to State Road 60 between Midland and Jasonville.

BURNS TO DEATH IN RESIDENCE FLAMES By Special Correspondent Linton, Ind., Oct 31 - Jesse COULTER, aged 87 years, was burned to death Wednesday, when his home was destroyed by fire. Mr. COULTER lived alone, near the Black Creek mine southwest of the city. It is not known how the fire started. From the position of the body, near a window, it is thought he attemped to escape. The body was burned to a crisp. He is survived by two sons, Marion and Frank COULTER of this city.

TERRE HAUTE MAN COMMITS SUICIDE
Jesse COULTER, 53 years old, committed suicide at the residence, 3001 South Ninth Street, about 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning by shooting himself through the head with a double-barreled shotgun. His wife said that he drove her to work Saturday morning and when she arrived home at 5:30 p.m. she found him lying dead on the bedroom floor. He left a note stating that he had taken his life because of ill health. He had been employed at the Snow Hill mine for several years. Deputy Coroner D.M. FERGUSON, Jr., was called and returned a verdict of death due to suicide. He is survived by the widow, Elizabeth; one daughter, Helen, of Indianapolis; one brother, Fred of Linton, and one sister, Mrs. Timothy COAKLEY of Linton. The body was taken to the Callahan Funeral Home. Burial Notice for same JESSE COULTER Terre Haute Star Monday, July 15, 1946 BURIAL AT LINTON FOR SUICIDE VICTIM Funeral services for Jesse COULTER, 53 years old, who committed suicide at the residence, 3001 South Ninth Street, Saturday, will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Callahan Funeral Home, after which the body will be taken to the Welsh & Cornet Funeral Home at Linton where services will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The Linton Lodge No 560, F. & A. M., will be in charge of the services at the Fairview Cemetery at Linton. An electrician at the Snow Hill Mine for the last several years, Mr. COULTER ended his life with a shotgun charge Saturday morning because of ill health, according to a note which was found by his wife when she returned home after work Saturday evening. Deputy Coroner D. M. FERGUSON, Jr. returned a verdict of suicide. He is survived by the widow, Elizabeth, one daughter, Mrs. Helen DAFOE of Indianapolis; one brother, Fred COULTER of Linton; one sister Mrs. Timothy COAKLEY of Linton and a granddaughter.

OSCAR PYRAH By Special Correspondent Brazil, Ind., Oct. 31 - Oscar PYRAH, 34 years old, son of Mrs. Phoebe PYRAH, of South Depot Street, died Wednesday at the home following a short illness of pneumonia. He was with his brothers in the coal business for some time but at the time of his death was serving as clerk in the office of the city water works. He was a member of the Knights and Landies of Security, Haymakers, Red Men Loyal Americans and Eagles' fraternities. He is survived by the mother, four brothers, Charles, Benjamin, Edgar and Lester, and one sister, Miss Alma, who lives at the PYRAH home. Funeral services will be held at the residence at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon with burial in Cottage Hill cemetery.

Tuesday night, died at the (?)ert Long Hospital, Indianapolis Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman WOODBURN are former Terre Haute residents. Besides the parents she is survived by the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles BORUFF, Crawford Street, and Mr. and Mrs. Orville WOODBURN of Clay, Indiana. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at Thornton. Burial will be in the Clay (?) Ind., cemetery.

ALBERT W. WILKIN Paris, Ill., Sept. 19 - (Special) - Services for Albert W. WILKIN, 89 years old, 607 Tenbroeck Street, a lifelong resident of Edgar County, who died Wednesday at his home, will be at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Ward-Sutton Funeral Home. The Rev. Earl SCARBEARY will officiate and the Rev. Mr. MUMAW will assist with burial in Sugar Grove cemetery near St. Bernice, Ind.
