Evelyn AxeEvelyn Axe, 0 Bloomfield, died Friday, May 8, at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute. Born July 15, 1917 in Switz City, she was the daughter of Robert and Lillie (Johnson) Wright. She was a homemaker and member of Antioch Christain Church, Worthington VFW Auxillary and Antioch Ladies Aid. Surviviors include her husband, Glenn H. Axe; one son and daughter-in-law, Harold Dean and Joetta A. Axe of Bloomfield; two sisters, Angeline Fiscus and Thira Newsom, both of Worthington; one brother, Robert Wright of Switz City; three grandchildren, Lisa Parsley, Lynn Hamm and Lori Sparks, all of Bloomfield and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, at Jenkins Funeral Home with the Rev. Arlen Pope officiating.
