Elmer DeanElmer Dean, 67, Linton, died Wedensday, March 23, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Born June 26, 1926, in Linton, he was the son of Frank and Fannie Belle (Gabbard) Dean. - - He was co-owner of Dean Trucking Co. in Linton. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Linton Elks Lodge #866; Frank Courtney American Legion Post #22 and Moose Lodge in Linton. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Ann (Goodson) Dean; one son, John F. Dean of Linton; one daughter, Charmianne D. Tryva of Bloomington; two brothers, Earl Dean of Fort Myers, Fla. and Ralph Dean of Linton; and two grandchildren, Kristin James and David Sizemore. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 25, at Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel. 24 Mar. 1994 Bloomfield News. |
