Ottis L. "Bud" DeckerOttis L. "Bud" Decker, 69, died at 12:55 p.m., Friday, June 4, at Greene County General Hospital. Born Sept. 4, 1943, in Switz City, he was the son of Harley O. and Blanche (Kirk) Decker. He was supervisor at Remco Hydraulics in Indianapolis, retiring in 1976 after 30 years of service. He worked at Griffin Engineering in Worthington as maintenance supervisor and had a small engine repair shop at his home. He was Army World War II veteran and member of the VFW in Worthington. Survivors include his wife Norma D. (Perkins) Decker; one daughter, Sally Decker of Worthington; two sisters, Mildred Leturgez of Greenfield and Margarite "Bobbie" Padgett of Orlando, Fla. He was preceded in death by two brother and two sisters. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Monday, June 7 at Welch & Cornett Worthington Chapel. Burial was in Worthington Cemetery 10 Jun 1993 Bloomfield News |
