Roscoe E. "Gene" DowningRoscoe E. "Gene" Downing, 77, of Jasonville, died Sunday, March 14, at Greene County General Hospital. Born March 30, 1915, in Farmersburg, he was the son of Charles and Mary (Thomas) Downing. He was a retired employee of Milwaukee Railroad at Latta Yard. Survivors include two brothers, Clyde Downing of Danville and Robert Downing of Perry, Fla.; one sister, Dorothy Barker of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews. Services were 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with the Rev. David Simpson officiating.
