Max Edmondson


Max Edmondson, 69, of ELnora, died at 8:55 p.m. Friday in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes.

He was born March 27, 1922 in Daviess County, the son of Hollis and Jennie (Young) Edmondson.

He was retired from Graham Cheese Factory; he owned and operated Max's Drive-in in Elnora; he was a member of the New Hope Christain Church, Washington and he was an active member of the Daviess County Fair and White River Valley Antique Association.

He is survived by his wife Mary (Margie) Arnold Edmonson; three sisters, Norma Callsion and Judy Smith, both of Elnora, and Mary Field of Indianapolis; two brothers, Wayne Edmondson of Elnora and Te Edmonson of Noblesville and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Wilma Moore.

Funeral services were at the New Hope Christain Church with John Schlueter officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, ELnora. Anderson-Poindexter Sandborn Chapel was in charge of arrangements. 2 Nov. 1991 Bloomfield News.
