Martha A. Emery

Martha A. Emery, 81, Bloomfield, died at 5:01 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at Ketcham Memorial Center.

Born Oct 8, 1912, in Linton, she was the daughter of Enoch and Myrtle (Carter) Cole.

She was a homemaker and member of the Scotland United Methodist Church. Survivors include on son, Raymond L. Emery of Middletown; one daughter, Sue Webster of Odon; four brothers Claude Cole and George Cole both of Bloomington; Lincoln Cole of Franklin and Harry Cole of Torrance, Calif.; one sister, Lucille Carmichael of Bloomington; six grandchildren; three great grandchild and 10 step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert R. Emery, 1982; on son. Kenneth Emery, 1988; one grandson; two brothers, Clifford Cole and Paul Wayne Cole; and parents.

Funeral Serivces were 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18 at Jenkins Funeral Home with the Revs. Arlen Pope and Billy Ed Hostelttler officiating. Burial was in Scotland Cemetery.
