Albert FLATER

"DEATH" HARVEST. Flater."

Albert FLATER was born February 14, 1874, died May 13, 1909, of consumption, aged thirty-five years, two months and twenty-nine days.

He was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter FLATER, who preceded him to that better land some years ago. He leaves one brother, Elza FLATER and two half sisters, Lessie FLATER and Mrs. Lulu PADGETT, with many other relatives and friends to mourn their loss. He was a kind and loving man and was respected by all who knew him.

He confessed Christ two days before his death and asked to be baptized but death called him away before his wishes were complied with; but though he was not baptized, yet we feel that Albert is sleeping the sweet sleep of one who has received Christ" blessing.

He had made his home with his brother for a number of years and everything was done for him that could be done to relieve his suffering.

The funeral was conducted by Rev. J. A. SPENCER at the residence, after which the remains were taken to the Flater Cemetery, three miles east of Bloomfield for interment. G.B.C.
