Mrs. Harriett GRAHAM

“DEATH’S HARVEST. Graham.”

Mrs. Harriett GRAHAM was born in Ohio March 10, 1846, and went to the life beyond at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Della BYERS, February 28, 1913, aged sixty-six years, eleven months and eighteen days. She was a daughter of Loran and Elizabeth TAYLOR. One brother, Edward TAYLOR, of Missouri, and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth JAMISON, of California survive her.

She was married to Christopher GRAHAM in 1860. Seven children were born to them, but only two are living-Mrs. Emma FOSTER and Mrs. Della BYERS, of near Bloomfield. There are fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild surviving her.

She came with her parents from Ohio to Indiana when only three years old.

She soon followed her husband to the grave, who passed away last October.

She united with the Baptist Church at Scotland when seventeen years old, and continued faithful to her church till the day of her death. She was a loyal wife, a devoted mother, a good neighbor and a true keeper of the home. She was greatly interested in the salvation of her husband, and largely through her influence he was led to give his life to Christ.

She was sick almost eight weeks, and bore her affliction with the resignation and fortitude of one trusting the Savior, and her great desire was to depart and be with her God and her loved ones.

The funeral services were conducted from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Della BYERS, last Saturday at 2 p.m. and the burial was in Grandview Cemetery.

We hereby extend our sincere thanks to all who kindly aided and sympathized with us during the illness, death and burial of our beloved mother, Harriet GRAHAM.
MRS. EMMA FOSTER
MRS. DELLA BYERS.
