Monnie GroomerMonnie Groomer, 86, Solsberry, died Monday, June 21, at Richland Bean Blossom health Care Center. Born Feb. 1, 1913, in Hendricksville, she was the daughter of John M. and Della (Burks) Brown. She was a homemaker and member of the Solsberry United Methodist Church where she was a member of the WSCS of church. She was a charter member, 50-year member and past matron of the Solsberry Eastern Star #547. Surviviors include one foster son, John Davis of Solsberry and one niece, Susanne Shryer of Blue Springs, Mo. She was preceded in heath by her husband, Wade Groomer, 1990 and one brother, Kenneth Brown. - - Services were 11 a.m. Thursday, June 24, at Jenkins Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Richwine officiating. Burial was in Grandview Cemetery. O.E.S. services were held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. 24 Jun 1999 Bloomfield News |
