Doris Gay JamisonDoris Gay Jamison of Spencer, Indiana, formerly of Worthington, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2007, at the Owen Valley Health Campus in Spencer. She was 84 years old, born April 3, 1923, in Greene County, Indiana, the daughter of Lee and Blanche (Sesney) Harris. She was a beautician, homemaker, and worked for several years as a cook at Worthington-Jefferson High School. Survivors include two sons, Terry (Trudy) Jamison of Spencer and Tom (Mary) Jamison of Greenwood, Indiana; ten grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Bob Harris of Leesburg; and one sister, Olive Gilman of Sun City, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edmund D. Jamison; three brothers, Kenneth, Wilbur and Rex Harris; and one sister, Dorothy Harris. The place of burial was Worthington Cemetery. A private family service was held there on Saturday, April 28. Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington assisted with the arrangements. Worthington Times Online |
