Charles W. MisnerCharles W. Misner 63, of Linton, passed away at 9:01 a.m., Saturday, June 28, 2003 at Bloomington Hospital. Born Dec. 26, 1939 in Andrews, he was the son of Charles and Nellie (House) Misner. He was retired from the Army, and a member of the American Legion in Linton and VFW of Linton. Survivors include, his wife, Kay (Zora) Gambill Misner of Linton; one son, Charles Misner Jr. of Linton; five step children; one brother, John Misner of Murray, Ky.; two sisters, Betty Reger and Barbara Hauck both of Anderson; and six grandchildren. Funeral service will be at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger at 1 p.m. on Tuesday with Pastor Peter Haskins officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton with full military graveside service. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today, and before the service Tuesday Linton Daily Citizen 30 Jun. 2003 |
