Joe Pedigo.Died, May 25, 1897 at his home two miles north of Owensburg, Uncle Joe PEDIGO. He was born near Popcorn, Ind., January 31st, 1822, and when it became necessary for men to march to the front to save the country he was one of the first. After going through the service, he, in the year 1867, on October 30th, was married to Elizabeth LAFFOON. The happy couple lived together until death separated them. He is one of the blest gone from us to await the call of Him who said, "I am the resurrection and the life." He leaves no children, but a wife to mourn her loss. May God bless and protect her and people care for her while she awaits her Master's call. H. J.
