OBITUARY
Jennie R. WARREN, wife of Henry WARREN, daughter of Daniel and Caroline NEIDIGH, departed this life March 1, 1897, at 9:30 a.m. of dropsy of the heart and pleura-pneumonia. She was born Feb. 26, 1864, in Greene county, Indiana, three miles northeast of Bloomfield; therefore, was thirty-three years and three days old.

She was married to Henry WARREN, March 16, 1886. To them were born five children, two daughters and three sons. Husband, father, mother, two brothers and one sister all survive.

Jennie gave her heart to God when quite young and united with the Church of God, at Tulip. Jennie has lived a good Christian life, has been an obliging neighbor, a true, devoted wife and a kind an affectionate mother. When we say a good Christian woman, it does not express the bright evidence manifested by her when she called the friends, husband and children to her bedside and told them to be good - she was going to Heaven and to meet her there; asked the little boys to sing the song she had taught them, "We'll Never Say Good-bye in Heaven". ? This was too much for the broken hearted family. She then asked Uncle Sam TIMMONS to sing it for her, so while singing the last two verses, the cold lips of Jennie for the last time whispered over the words and fell asleep in Jesus.
