I have been tracing his descendants and along the way picked up information about other WOLFORD families as well. I also publish THE WOLFORD CONNECTION, a family history newsletter. GREENE COUNTY QUERY, Tues Mar 11, 1997, We are looking for any information of Abraham MILLER who married Mary (who?). Abraham and Mary's ch. Angeline MILLER, Emmett Gilson (Dick) MILLER and others ?. Emmett (my Grandfather) Married Katerina STRETCH (or step father MCLAUGHLIN) at Fort Scott Kansas ca 1870 then they moved to Colorado and had a large family. The story is that they lived in Linton, a town in Greene county. Any help with these people will be greatly appreciated.

Their son, Franklin K. Lyons m. Elizabeth TROUT 5 Dec. 1850 in Greene County. Both he and Elizabeth died a few years after their marriage and left three small children. GREENE COUNTY QUERY, FEB 7, 1997-Need information on ancestors of Elijah and Cynthia Quillen. They were married about 1835 but divorced. Cynthia died in 1887 in Greene Co. Son John killed in Civil War. Son James (my great grandfather) married Catherine Fischer, widow of Gilgan Schrantz. They were divorced in 1863 in Greene Co and she later married Peter Furrer. She died in 1905 and is buried in Castle Hill Cemetery. Daughter Mary Angeline Quillen (my grandmother) m. Albert Cornelius Bennett. Believe other children to be David, Rebecca, Eliza J., Joseph, George Washington, and Jesse.

Greene County, Indiana Weeks and Hayden families c.1920 Would appreciate ANY information regarding Weeks and Hayden families of Greene County, Indiana. Opal weeks of Sanborn, Indiana was married to Raymond Hayden of Bloomington, Indiana in approximately 1920. A son, Raymond Manley Hayden, was born in Sanborn August 14, 1921. Opal Weeks left the family and was thought to reside in Montana until her death (DOD unknown.) I am seeking specific information about Opal Weeks date of birth, date of marriage to R. Hayden, date of divorce. Would like to determine Opal Weeks place of burial. Also, I would like to know if there are any surviving Weeks family members. Additional information: Son Raymond M. Hayden attended Bloomington High School and married Eva F. Nash of Crane, Indiana. Raymond M. Hayden (son) died July 31, 1996 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Raymond Hayden (father) died early 1996 in Thorntown, Indiana. Both father and son were employed at the Buick dealership in Bloomington. The father became a Methodist minister upon moving to Thorntown. Son enlisted in the Army Air Corps and was a German prisoner of war during WWII.

My gggfather and gggmother Peter and Margaret (Wadsworth) Ragle settled in Daviess County in 1835. Peter had a brother John Ragle (Ragel) and a mother Susannah Ritchey Ragle Parrott Watt. I have not been able to locate their place of last repose, but suspect it is in the Odon area. Any information would be deeply appreciated. ( I am aware of the Ragles buried in the old half of the cemetery at Raglesville and some of the more modern cemeteries north and west of Odon, and have also looked at the records from the Crane area.) Susannah's third husband was James Watt, a schoolteacher.

Alfred Allison married Mary Catherine Hendrick in Ky.and Otho & Elizabeth there before going to Ind.,Thomas, Maragaret, Sarah, Nancy in Greene County, Ind. with Frederick, Emma, Jane, John, born in Vermillion County, Ill. Alfred moved to Phelps County, Mo. after the Civil war with part of the family moving with them. Thomas & Frederick were in the Civil War on the Union Ill. group. Alfred had 3 daughters marriage into the Ind. & Ky. Baker lines. Otho was in Harrison County, Ky. in 1830's and married Mary Polly Leonard of Ky. also and they had 14 children from Ky. to Ill. were they died in Danville, Ill. WEST I am looking for info on Thomas W. WEST, born in Indiana, unknown county, in 1835. He married Mary A. ? from Tennessee, and they lived near Nixa, Missouri and had had least 7 children, one of whom was my great great grandmother, Missouri Tennessee WEST.
