Newberry School
Newberry School (Cass twp) - The
1st school house was built near White River; the 2nd on west
side of town and the 3rd on the south part of town; the 4th
built in 1907 at $3,000 was in the east part of town; 1947
attended Lyons until 1951 when merged with Switz City Central;
grades continued there until 1960 and tore down 1965
