Veterans of Revolutionary War
The "shot heard round the world" fired at Lexington on April 19, 1775 began the war for American independence. It ended eight
and a half years later September 3, 1783 with the Treaty of Paris.
The database has deliberate additional headings for additions and corrections and was taken from several sources.
