William JACKSON Sr being duly sworn before the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas, of the county aforesaid, upon oath says Jacob JACKSON Sr departed this life in said county, intestate as he believes, on the 26th day of April 1856; That said Jacob JACKSON left a personal estate to be administered of the probable value as he is informed and believes of three hundred dollars.

I Jacob JACKSON Sr of the County of Gallatin and State of Kentucky Being of Sound and disposing Mind and Memory do this day Make and Ordain this My Last Will and testament.
In the Name of God I give my Body to be interred & My Spirit to god who gave it.
I Next Will and Ordain that after My decease My beloved Wife is to have of the proceeds of My present Estate a full comfortable and ample Support as long as She May live. Should She Survive Me with the privilege of choosing her place of residence to be paid for by those occupying my home farm Should it please her to Remove from it.
I Next give and bequeath to My two Sons Hugh W. and James W. JACKSON the farm on which I now live or my home farm said James to have the Eastrin and Hugh to have the westrin half according to a Survey and division Made by John SCOTT on the 21th day of February 1849 all of which I Reserve the Exclusive Regulation and possession of while I live.
I Next will and ordain that after My Decease all My Chattel property of Every kind Shall be Sold and a just and Equal Distribution Made of the proceeds among all of my four Sons after all My Just debts are first paid and in case there Should Not be Chattel property Sufficient to cover my last Phicians bill funeral expense & debts then it is My Will that Such deficiency shall be Made good by those two of My Sons holding my home place.
And as I have provided for My two Sons Jacob W. and John W. JACKSON giving to Each of them a tract of land for a small compensation that is My will that the have no part or divide in the above described home place.
It is lastly My will and desire that {no name entered} Shall act as My Exactor after My Decease at which provision I for the present Close this My Will Satisfied with its provisions.
