Will of Aden G. Cavins

I Aden G. Cavins do make and publish this my last will and testament.

Item 1 - It is my will that all my debts and funeral expenses be paid.

Item 2 - It is my will that a family monument be placed on the family lot in Bloomfield Cemetery at a cost of not less than five hundred dollars.

Item 3 - I give and bequeath to my wife Matilda L. Cavins all the residue of my property.

Item 4 - In the event of the death of my said wife before my death I give and bequeath to my children William L. Cavins, Josephine Torr, Lelia Baughman, Frank Cavins and Margaret Henderson and my grand daughter Wilhelmina Cavins the sum of Five hundred dollars each and 6/7 of the residue of my property I give bequeath and devise to my children Edward E. Cavins, William Cavins, Josepine Torr, Lelia Baughman, Frank Cavins and Margaret Henderson to be diivided equally between them as to the remaining 1/7 of said residue _ will as follows that whatever_ has been paid or in the course of the settlement of the estate of my son Aden C. Cavins may be paid by C. E. Henderson , _ L. Cavins or either of them as surety for said Aden L. Cavins _ _ be interest thereon shall be paid to them in the proportion in which they may have paid out the residue of said 1/7 shall be given to my grand daughter Wihelmina Cavins.

Item 5 the property herein given to my grand daughter Willhelmina Cavins is upon the following condition towit: _ of the sum must be paid to her until she arrives at the age of 21 years or marries and if she dies before she marries or becomes o 21 years of age unmarried, then the legacy _ made to her is to _ and be equally divided _ _ other _ including Edward E. Cavins and after the settlement of my estate the amount given to said Wilhelmina Cavins to be held my my executor herein named as a trustee until the _ "the residue thereof" and "and my grand daughter Wilhelmina Cavins" were _ before the execution of this will

Item 6 I appoint my son William L. Cavin executor of this will.

Before me Joseph W. Yakey Clerk of the Greene Circuit Court personally came E. H. C. Cavins one of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing last will and testament of Aden G. Cavins lat of Greene County Indiana deceased and being duly sworn on oath say that he was present at the execution of said last will that the same was duly executed that at the time of the execution thereof said testator was of full age to devise his property of sound mind and memory not uner any coercion or restraint that sais testator requested E. H. C. Cavins and Ann M. Cavins to sign said will as witness thereto which they accordingly did in the presence of said testator and in the presence of each other as subscribiung witnesses thereto

I Joseph W. Yakey Clerk of the Greene Circuit Court do hereby certify that the above and foregoing last will and testament of Aden G. Cavins late of Greene County State of Indiana deceased was this day duly admitted to probate and record and the proof thereof duly made by E. H. C. Cavins and Ann M. Cavins subscribing witnesses thereto which said will, together with such proof have been duly recorded in Record of Will No. 4 pg. 102 in this office.
